JustRite Papercraft - Shabby Chic Autumn Leaves

 Autumn is absolutely my favorite time of year.  I love the beautiful palatte of colors Mother Nature paints the trees with.  I love to watch the leaves slowly change colors and then one morning you wake up to Autumn Beauty everywhere.  I have leaf themed decor through out my house -- including wonderful leaf knobs.  So I couldn't wait to get inky with Shabby Chic Autumn Leaves. 

First I created a leaf designer paper with leaves on white paper with Memento Terracotta.  Then I stamped leaves in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Memneto Inks and a Jumbo Dauber to give me a rich transition of color.  My center elements are from Autumn Labels Twenty Two.

Ooh La La Paris themed Home Decor

Today for my project I decided to use Samantha Walker's Fragrant Gardens Background Stamp again but I wanted it to be the focal point for my project instead of the background for my project. 

We are slowly rennovating my studio and when it is finished it will have a Parisian Theme so I thought it would be fun to create a Home Decor piece that I could use to decorate my studio. 

Here is a close up of my frame so that you can see that I added my embellishments to the outside of the glass on my frame to give it some added dimension.

JustRite August Release Day 3 - Samantha Walker

My apologies for being absent from my blog for so many months, it was never my intent to disappear.  But I have been super busy behind the scenes transitioning JustRite Stampers to JustRite Papercraft since my last post. I am so excited that after months of administrative work - I finally got a chance to get inking!!  I lived in France for my Sophomore Spring in College and I just love Paris, so I couldn't resist playing with Samantha Walker's new background stamp -Fragrant Gardens Background Stamp
and her new Spellbinders French Frills die .

Today the JustRite Design Team is launching Samantha Walker's new line of JustRite Papercraft stamps.  I just love Samantha's fun fresh style!  You can see Samantha's entire August Release today on the JustRite blog.

 
To create my card I stamped the background stamp twice - once in grey and once in black.  On the grey image I used a dauber and gently rubbed in colors to give me a warm rich background.  Then I created a frame with the black stamped image and colored it with copic markers to coordinate with my background. I then colored and layered on top of the grey background two of the label elements from the black stamped backgound.

Here is a few of the things I have been up to in my blog absence.

These have been the most exciting months behind the scenes for JustRite! I am now President and one of the owners of JustRite Papercraft.  Which means that Amy & I can finally share with you our vision for JustRite Papercraft.  If you haven't visited the JustRite Website  lately you need to check out what we have been up to!!  We are now making all our stamps in the USA and phasing out all of our JustRite Original stamps -- which are now on sale for $8.00 or less here.

 

 Amy and I have revamped the website so it is super easy to shop --you can now shop by release date, and easily see what stamps coordinate with what Spellbinder's dies and what JustRite Custom Dies.   We also given JustRite Papercrafts a brand new look and we have a new 48 page catalog supplement with 125 projects.
