Over at the JustRite Blog it is the first day of the JustRite CHA July Release sets!! Today we are introducing our 4th Christmas Cling Set - Christmas Trimmings. For my project I decided to try my first shaped card using Spellbinders Grand Labels Four Nestabilities - and I must say I am in love with shaped cards now!!
For this project I wanted to play off the design of my shaped card - so I used the poinsettia element to frame my sentiment while accenting the fun shape of my card. I used a Memento Tuxedo Black Marker to ink my poinsettia imag so that I could omit soke of the swirls in the design for the poinsettias that are in the One O'Clock and Five O'Clock postiions on my card. To create my trim - I wove a 1/8" red ribbon with gold trim through my piece of crocheted trim which gave it the perfect feel for my card. Now here is a look at the entire set!!
