Welcome to the JustRite Garden Tour 2 Blog Hop. I am sure that many of you are hoping that Spring is just around the corner. Here in Maine it has been bitterly cold this week and as much as I would like Spring to be around the corner it is much more likely that I won't see any flowers or signs of Spring until late April...BRRR!! So instead I can just color all the beautiful Botanical Stamp Sets being introduced by JustRite and dream of warmer days. While I was at CHA in Anaheim I had the opportunity to complete my Copic Certification Class-and I learned a few tips during class that I will be sharing with you here on my blog over the next few weeks.
Today I am sharing with you an image from JustRite's Beautiful Blossom's Set. For my card I wanted to make my Geranium really pop so I stamped and gold embossed my first image on black cardstock. Then I stampled the Geranium center 3 times on Neenah Classic Solar Crest White Cardstock- gold embossing each image. After coloring all 3 blossoms I cut and layered the Geranium to give it a 3- D bloom..
To create my striped paper I combined two papers from Cosmo Cricket to create a new Cosmo Stripe by cutting strips from Honey Pie Megan and layered them on Ever After Something Blue (the orange side of the paper). This is definitely a must have set.
In this set you will find the following blooms -Dogwood (top left), Geranium (top right), Daisies (bottom left) and Peony (bottom right).
