I have had this set of stamps- Flourish Plate 1from Rubber Stamp Tapestry in my stash for months and today I finally got to play with them. I absolutely love this set...it makes such beautiful dainty lines and the paper design possibilities are endless. To create this card I started with a fun paper from Best Creations. The center of the daisies are pre glittered and the paper already had a light pink flourish in it so I thought it would be the perfect canvas for this set. Here is a photo of the paper before I started stamping.
Next I added in the flourishes and embossed them in Rich red. I then used graphite black brillance ink to add the love words...this set has 4 variations of the word love. Here is what the paper look like after I stamped it with the gorgeous flourishes.
Next I used the graphite black ink to scuff the edges of the paper. I used the leftover brighton paper from last night's card as my card base and I also scuffed these edges. To create the tag I altered a counter top chip sample by applying versamark watermark ink to the entire surface and applying the rich red embossing powder to the chip and embossing it. I then re- applied additional versamark ink and added a second layer of rich red embossing powder to the chip. When it cooled I used my graphite black brilliance ink to the apply flourishes to the tag and to grunge the sides of the counter top chip. To speed up the drying process I heat set the ink with my embossing gun. I found these cute little vintgage key holes from Melissa Francis and the mini vintage brass keys are from 7 Gyspies. The ribbon is from Creative Impressions. To adhere the lock and the key I used Scotch tacky adhesive glue...which I love as it dries clear and holds even metal. Here is a close up of the tag.
Now I still felt like I needed a little something more for the card ...so I found 3 heart clips ( I am not sure who they are from) and I used the graphite black ink to antique them and then adhered them to my card with the Scotch Tacky Adhesive. Here is the close-up view:
And then of course I added Red Rhinestones from Kaiser Crafts. Wouldn't this stamped paper make a beautiful scrapbook page ?? Off to design more fun projects...it's great to be creating again!!
Here is what the set looks like...can you just see the endless possibilities!!
I know...now you just gotta have it!!
