Introducing Topsy Turvy Cakes

Introducing Botanical Butterflies

 I absolutely love butterflies - the walls of my office are adorned with prints with butterfly collage prints!!  So I know that this set will be one of my favorite sets!!

CR-02245 Botanical Butterfiles- is a set of 14 Clear Stamps.  They feature 4 circular stamps designs with borders ( note that the borders and the centers are not interchangeable - they are fixed images).  The circular images are compatible with Spellbinders S4-114 Standard Circles LG, S4-116 Standard Circles SM

For my card I found this awesome piece of paper in the Prima Printery Collection 6 x 6 stack and I knew that I had finally found the perfect piece of paper to show off my vintage crocheted lace that I had purchased at a yard sale earlier this summer. 

And with that sweet buterfly chase sentiment it screamed to be used with  Botanical Butterflies - right!!  I stamped the large Buterfly and colored it with copics and popped it up with foam tape just above the Butterfly Chase sentiment.  Next I added stamped sevaral of the smaller butterfly images onto the paper and colored them with Copics too.  Then I stamped, colored and fie cut the butterfly circle image with Labels Eighteen and using foam tape I adhered it just below the Butterfly Chase sentimet.

Next I added my vintage lace trim and accented it with 2 designer trims from Webster's Pages.  Added buttons and a Cameo Stick pin.  Just Love it when you can find all the right pieces and parts for a project!!

Introducing Autumn Words & Market Place Alphabet

Today we are introducing two JustRite Clear Sets that are designed to coordinate with each other and give you  JustRite Versatility. 

For my project today I designed a Fall Themed October Birthday Card for my Mom whose Birthday is next week.  Mom if you are reading my blog today - Happy Early Birthday!!

 
 Anyone who knows me well knows I just adore Autumn Leaves ---Fall is absolutely my favorite time of year!  I love the crisp Autumn Air and watching the leaves change color! And this year I am so excited that I am going to be home in Maine for the peak leaf peeping season! 

I used the Maple & Oak Leaves and the Acorn image from Autumn Words to create my background paper.  I used tear drop  versamagic pads to load my images with multiply colors - I prefer to use a blended (chalk) ink when I am working with clear stamps if I am not coloring the images. I find the ink sticks better to the clear stamps and gives me finer details.

Next I used a grided acrylic block to set up my sentiment which I also loaded with several colors of ink so that my sentiment would tie into my background paper. Since I wanted to accentuate that this card was for my MOM, I used letters from Market Place Alphabet Stamps and die cut the sentiment with the Double Ended Tear Drop Tag Element from JustRite Custom  Nested Sentiment Dies.

 Autumn Words - which has 40 images that will take you from the first day of Fall through ThanksGiving!!  Great for scrapbooking as well as card making and this set will be your go to set for Fall!!
