Today is day 3 of the JustRite April Release - with their new stamp set called Hope. This is a great stamp set for your collection. Perfect for Cancer Fundraising events or for encouragement cards for friends and family who have been stricken with illness. It has great messages for even encourage someone who has fallen on hard luck and needs a little hope sent their way.
I finally broke out my sewing machine and gave sewing on a card a try. I still need to figure out how my new sewing machine works, but I could quickly see how much fun sewing on cards could be.
I wanted this card to be bright and cheery so I used Cosmo Crickets and developed my card design playing off the pretty yellow flowers.This was a simple card to color after I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo black. I colored it with my go to green.
After I diecut my stamped image with Labels One, I wanted something to accentuate my sentiment so I used a fancy tag and cut it in half and used it to frame my sentiment. For the red mat behind my sentiment I dry embossed the mat with and lined up the embossing on the mat strip so that the embossed detail on the left looks like it is blooming from my fancy frame.
